Background
Dr. JJ Evangelista was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, MI and attended Cranbrook High School. Dr. JJ has an extensive educational background. He attended the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Science before attending medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. JJ completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He then completed two fellowship, one in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the other in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at the University of California San Diego.

He has received various prestigious honors, some of which include, Medical School Clinical Honors in Internal medicine, Ward Internal Medicine Sub-internship, Medical Intensive Care Unit Sub-internship, Emergency Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology and most recently, Cambridge Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. Dr. JJ presented as guest lecturer for multiple medical conventions within Metro Detroit. Dr. JJ is on staff at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, Maple Manor Rehabilitation Center of Wayne and Maple Manor Rehabilitation Center of Novi.
