Frequently Asked Questions

What are the visiting hours?

Our recommended visiting hours are 8:00am to 8:00pm, so that your loved one can get the rest they need. 


Is there a telephone in my room?  

A private telephone is available for all patients at no charge. Phone numbers are provided upon admission.


Do you offer activities?

Daily activities are planned and supervised by the facilities Recreational Therapist and are individualized to meet the needs of each resident.  We offer a variety of activities including live music, bingo, crafts, movies, baking, one-to-one activities, library services, news, manicures.  Also, various religious worship services are provided at the facility as needed. 


Do you have a laundry service?

We do offer a laundry service free of charge. Patients are welcome to have family pick up laundry as well.


Can mail or packages be sent to the facility addressed to me?  

Yes, many of our patients receive mail and packages during their stay. Mail is received and passed by the front desk staff Monday through Friday. 


Can my family bring in outside food for me?

Outside food is welcomed. Please label and date all outside food. Food can be stored in one of our community fridges on each unit.


Am I able to see a physician while at Maple Manor?

Every guest is assigned to a Maple Manor staff physician to oversee their care during their stay. Our physicians are rounding regularly and are on call 24/7 for emergencies. If you or your loved one would like to speak with a physician, please let the nursing staff know so they can alert the proper physician.


What is the smoking policy?

Maple Manor is a non-smoking campus. Smoking on the property is strictly prohibited by all staff, patients, and guests.


Are pets allowed to visit?

Yes, pets can visit but proof of an annual medical/health evaluation, immunizations must be provided. All pets must remain on a leash. The responsible person must always be in control of the animal while on Maple Manor property
