The fund-raising campaign was spearheaded by Jessica Rau.

The proceeds, which benefited DMC’s Rehab Institute of Michigan Foundation, will fund its Adaptive Sports Program, including Dance Mobility which is the only free ballroom-dance program for people with disabilities.

For being the champion, Marcus, who is the CFO of Maple Manor Rehab Center, received the Crystal Ball Trophy. Marcus competed against healthcare owners and executives. He represented Maple Manor Rehab Center in the competition.

The contestants were partnered with professional dance instructors from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio located in Bloomfield Hills.

Marcus raised the biggest amount and was declared the winner.

His parents—Honorary Philippine Consul General Jose Evangelista and Dr. Stella Evangelista—thanked the kind people who supported their son through donations or ticket purchase.
